As a companion to this website’s “Residents” and “Where Are We?”projects, we are including transcriptions of some of the biographies contained in the Souvenir Issue, and reproductions of the photographs.
It included short biographies and photographs of many of Olympia’s prominent citizens, as well as descriptions and images of several of the businesses, churches, and other institutions. The issue contained information on the State of Washington, and on Olympia in particular. In 1891, the Olympia Tribune published a souvenir issue, consisting of 22 bound pages that were printed and bound at the State Printing Office.
